This Work Ready Skills Builder course helps participants feel more confident using basic office tools. It’s a great first step for anyone looking to build skills for admin, retail, or other office jobs. The course is short, practical, and gives participants real skills they can use straight away.

Learning outcomes

  • BSBWRT311 Write simple documents – Learn how to write clear and professional emails, letters, and other work documents.
  • BSBTEC302 Design and produce spreadsheets – Learn how to use spreadsheets to organise information, do simple calculations, and save time.

Participants will practise their skills in a simulated business environment, using easy templates and step-by-step guides. This hands-on experience helps them feel confident and ready to use their new skills in real jobs.

After finishing the course, they’ll receive a nationally recognised Certificate of Attainment for each unit. These units can also count towards a full qualification if they choose to keep studying later.
