This Work Ready Skills Builder course helps participants understand how to spot online threats and promote safe practices at work. It’s a great starting point for anyone interested in admin, IT, or roles that involve using computers and the internet.

Learning outcomes

  • BSBXCS302 Identify and report online security threats – Learn how to recognise common online risks and report them to help protect the workplace from cyber-attacks.
  • BSBXCS402 Promote workplace cyber security awareness and best practices – Learn how to encourage safe online habits among co-workers and help build a strong cyber safety culture at work.

Participants will practise their skills in a simulated business environment, using easy-to-follow guides and templates.

After completing the course, they’ll receive a nationally recognised Certificate of Attainment for each unit. If they choose to continue studying, these units can count towards the ICT30120 Certificate III in Information Technology.
