This course is ideal for anyone preparing for hands-on jobs where lifting, moving items, and following safety rules are part of the day. It helps participants build confidence in physical work environments and understand how to protect themselves and others.

Learning outcomes

  • TLID0020 Shift materials safely using manual handling methods – Learn how to move loads safely using proper lifting techniques and planning, helping to reduce the risk of injury.
  • BSBWHS311 Assist with maintaining workplace safety – Learn how to follow and support WHS procedures to keep the workplace safe for everyone.

Participants will practise their skills in a simulated work environment, using easy-to-follow guides and templates.

After completing the course, they’ll receive a nationally recognised Certificate of Attainment for each unit. These units also provide a strong foundation for further study or entry into physically active roles.
