Our Certificate III Courses consist of multiple units of competency – when all units of competency are gained for the certificate the student will be issued their certificate.

What is a statement of attainment?

A statement issued to a person confirming that they have satisfied the requirements of a specified unit or units of competency.

MCI can issue a statement of attainment to students that gain a unit of competency but do not go on to gain their full certificate.

What is a Unit of Competency?

A unit of competency is the specification of knowledge and skill, and the application of that knowledge and skills, to the standard of performance expected in the workplace as defined in a training package.

Our Certificate III Courses consist of multiple units of competency – every assessment task in both the Core and Practical for a unit need to be satisfactory to gain the unit of competency.

A unit of competency is the smallest unit that can be assessed and recognised.

Where can I see a students progress?

Reports are sent weekly to consultants that have students with an active enrolment. If you are having trouble locating the report, please email [email protected]

Can a student change courses?

If a student has been enrolled into a course and has not yet commenced the coursework, we can arrange enrolment into a new course with no additional cost.

Once a course has been commenced, course changes are generally not available.

Why can’t the student see their course when they login?

This can happen for 2 reasons

  1. The course was enrolled with a start date in the future and has not commenced.
