What should I do if I get an error 404 (broken link) or firewall message when I try and access a link in the Resources or Learning Activity items?

Different computers have different settings, so sometimes when you access the items under “Learning Material” including the Micros, it doesn’If you can’t access a link from the Resources or Learning Activities, please don’t be too concerned. For broken links, you can either search online for the article, or you can just continue on to the next item.

If you are using a computer at your employment provider, you may find that the company firewall blocks some links. If this is the case, please don’t be concerned. You can just continue on to the next item.

In all cases, we would appreciate if you logged a ticket to let us know. To do so, use the “REQUEST HELP” section on your Dashboard.

When I click on the “Micro”, it doesn’t fit nicely. How do I make it fit nicely?

Different computers have different settings, so sometimes when you access the items under “Learning Material” including the Micros, it doesn’t appear to fit nicely on the screen.

After you open the micro, try and use “fullscreen” mode. You can find the button to the immediate left of the X (Close browser) button on the very top right of the screen.

How do I fix issues with my browser?

Try using Google Chrome or another browser. If you still have trouble, please log a ticket with us. 

To raise a ticket, you need to fill in the request help section found on the right hand side in Moodle.
