Study requirements

I am a DES student, how do I progress from lesson to lesson?

DES means you are registered through Disability Employment Services (DES), and therefore you need to complete the assessment tasks for each lesson before moving on to the next lesson.

After you have completed and submitted all the assessment questions for a section tab (could be one, two or three lessons depending on the course), the next section tab automatically opens and becomes available to you.

You should aim to complete 15 questions or one section tab each week to stay on track of your study requirements.

I have finished my lesson/s and hours for the week. Why can’t I see the next lesson?

As a full-time or part-time Work the for Dole/ jobactive student, if you complete your required studies before the end of the week, you’ll need to wait for the beginning of the next week to see the next week’s lesson or lessons.

I am a part-time student, how many hours of study do I need to complete each week?

As a part-time Work for the Dole/jobactive student, you are required to complete a minimum of 15 hours of study each week.

I am a full-time student, how many hours of study do I need to complete each week?

As a full-time Work for the Dole/ jobactive student, you are required to complete a minimum of 25 hours of study each week.
